STUDIO 800 FIRST PHOTOSHOOT

What to Expect!

Hey Everyone,

I can’t wait to have you guys in the studio this Saturday! Its going to be an exciting day but all I ask is you bear with me, as its the first time I’ll have shot in the new studio. Below are some tips and info to make the day run as smoothly as possible. If you have any questions feel free to message me on instagram or text.

 

  • Your allotted shoot time is 30 minutes so please arrive 20-30 minutes early to change into your looks and check out the studio!

    The business below the studio is currently under construction so the entry way will most likely still be a work in progress. Due to the construction I have to leave the door locked this week so please call or text right after you park or when you have arrived at the door.

    Parking: The easiest place to park downtown will be out front of the building and if there are no spots available check in the St. Cloud Times lot (southeast of building). If you need to plug the meter I will also have change!

  • I sent you a Pinterest mood/ style board for reference to outfits and looks. Obviously not every look is in your closet so don’t feel like you need to go out of your way to buy new things. 2-3 outfits should be perfect. I don’t plan on shooting you in each one but it should give me some options IF I want to change anything. I also have a private changing room for anyone coming from work or other places.

    Tips:

    • Extra shoe, jewelry, or props are great if you have them

    • The furniture and feel of the space is cream and tan mid century vibe. Seamless paper rolls will be Pure White and Black (possibly a tan if it arrives on time)

    • Dont over think. I’ve seen your Instagram and know you have a great sense of fashion and style so just be yourself. Thats why I invited you!

  • I will NOT have a makeup artist on Saturday but I have a nice set up if you need to do your hair or makeup at the studio.

    I prefer a more natural look but don’t hesitate to change up that eyeshadow or liner. I still love unique looks and character as well.

    I would like for you to keep your hair natural, but we may tweak it just a bit if I have a burst of inspiration!

    Lastly, make sure to have a small bag packed with extras for touch ups or different looks (having a stairghtner or curlers are a plus).

    Men. Keep the beards or facial hair nice and trimmed. Please bring anything you need if your hair does not stay in one place.

  • Once you arrive things will most likely move pretty quick. Feel free to hangout as long as you’d like after your session, enjoy the space and hopefully you’ll meet some new people! If your lucky enough Dolsie’s might be open after you shoot… my mother would be very happy if you stopped down and told her how amazing I was to shoot with.

Final Note. I do have someone joining us (Izzy) who will be filming throughout the day. So have some fun and let loose around the camera as we plan on making a ton of BTS content!
